Mountune Racing Fiesta Zetec S TDCi MRD270 upgrade now available

Mountune has announced the release of the Fiesta Zetec S TDCi MRD270 upgrade.

Mountune's maiden diesel performance upgrade is now available for Fiesta mk6 Zetec S TDCi owners giving more performance, economy and fun!

With expert diesel calibrators involved in the kits' development you can be assured of the usual OE-like feel and quality whilst increasing the vehicle's performance.

Once upgraded typical power output rises to 115PS, with 270Nm torque.

The kit retails for £375 and includes; a K&N panel filter, re-calibrated ECU and badge.

Dave's Supercharged Fiesta ST reaches 292 BHP

Dave has just had a Milltek big bore system and Milltek sports cat fitted to his already supercharged Fiesta ST. The result, 292 BHP. Not too shabby considering it left the factory with an estimated 147 BHP.

MOT changes

There have been a number of changes to that could affect your vehicle at the next MOT. A full list can be found here but the ones most likely to affect Greenlight customers with modified cars are listed below.

Exhaust

A catalytic convertor fitted as original equipment but missing will be a reason for failure.

Supplementary restraints

The vehicle will fail the test if any airbag fitted as original equipment is obviously missing or defective.

A seatbelt pre-tensioner fitted as original equipment but missing or that has obviously deployed will be a reason for failure.

Seatbelt load limiters that are missing where fitted as standard or folding webbing type limiters that have obviously deployed are also reasons for failure.

Mountune Racing Focus ST MR290 upgrade now available

Mountune has announced the release of the Focus RS MR375 upgrade.

The eagerly awaited power uplift for Focus ST MP260 customers is now available from Mountune directly and their range of Ford PRO dealers throughout the UK and Europe.

The kit is based on the market-leading core of the MP260 and features a selection of additional hardware making it the logical next-step when the base vehicle warranty expires. It's also available to customers running an otherwise standard Focus ST who want an exhilarating performance increase in one easy step.

Power is increased to 290PS whilst peak torque is now a substantial (and RS equivalent) 440Nm which means 60mph can be reached in 5.6 secs with 100mph arriving in an equally swift 12.5 secs.

Dave's Supercharged Fiesta ST

Dave who works here recently purchased a Cosworth Inlet Manifold for his Fiesta ST along with some other parts. Within a week fitting he has now added a Jamsport Fiesta ST Stg2.5 Supercharger Kit and custom remap. Here are some pictures with them all fitted.

"The standard Ford concetena plastic air intake hose is prone to collapse under boost. As I intend to modify the car further with increases in boost pressure, this was one of the first things I wanted to address. SCC Performance in St Albans supplied and fitted a stronger silicone intake pipe.

Here is a picture of the hose I have fitted to my car, there is also a picture taken from the SCC website to show the standard hose collapsing under boost while on a rolling road session.

At £39.98 supplied and fitted this is a must have modification for any RS Owner.

Neil's new intercooler for his Focus RS

Not wanting to be outdone by Dave's recent modifications Neil has just got through a Pace large alloy front mounted intercooler for his Ford Focus RS MK2.

Power cut
